11 May 2006 - Kathryn to ride for Ireland

Our congratulations to Kathryn Wheelock, rider, helper and committee member, who will represent Ireland this year at international Para-Equestrian events.

Ka, whose father is Irish and who holds an Irish passport, is already having lessons with Irish Paralympic dressage team coach Donie McNamara. In April she was invited to a training camp in Limerick organised by the Paralympic Council of Ireland for all Irish Paralympic athletes aiming to compete in Beijing 2008 (Hong Kong for equestrians)
