3 Mar 2007 - Richard takes 3rd place in Para Talent Spotting Compeition

In the February Para Talent Spotting Competition at Vale View, Leicestershire, Richard Bromley came third in the 15-25 years age group with a score of 75%. The judge said she was very impressed with his riding.

Also competing, in the 25 and over age range, were Elaine Button and Lynne Burnley. Elaine came 12th with 69.33% and Lynne was 14th with 69%. Both were riding for the first time at this level and all three riders learnt a lot from their visit.

All three riders honed their skills before the competition with another trip to Bishop Burton College, Beverley and a session on 'Bertie', the college's Mechanical Horse. Pictured (left to right) on the visit are Lynne, Richard and Elaine with other members of the group.
