15 Sep 2007 - AGM 2007 & Presentations

Thanks to everyone who attended our AGM in the gallery at Acrecliffe Equestrian Centre. Special guests were Otley's Lib Dem Councillor Graham Kirkland and Chris Wainwright and Christine Wicks from the Skipton Building Society.

After a demonstration ride, the main business of the day took place. Judy Olby gave a comprehensive Chairman's Report and instructor Elaine Goodall arrived direct from Weeton Show to give her Instructor's Report. Chris Wainwright kindly presented the trophies to those who had won them and certificates to those riders who had recently passed their Grade 4 Riding and Stable management exams. There were also certificates all our volunteers to thank them for services rendered.

Unfortunately, the heavens opened with a vengeance as the meeting closed. Cathy Thornton and Barbara Herbert did their utmost to ensure that everyone received mugs of tea and coffee and there was plenty of food available but the downpour did not assist the planned social gathering outside.
